Won Hundred Summer 2025
The 7th of August was the day that the House of Won Hundred revealed its innovative collection for the summer season. On this day, 20 looks were displayed on the runway during the third day of the Copenhagen Fashion Week. Here you will find all the behind-the-scenes details of the Won Hundred Summer 2025 collection.
Founded and led by the Danish designer Nikolaj Nielsen, the Copenhagen-based label recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. The brand’s soul is to produce resilient clothing that combines distinctive style with practical wardrobes that transcend age and gender boundaries.
The brand has a unique take on denim, crafting its entire philosophy around the classic material that is popular in the Scandinavian fashion scene. However, this collection is no exception, and the next section will explain why it is innovative.
The collection
On this season, Won Hundred digs deeper into the brand’s raw and unpolished aspects, blending with its formal heritage and incorporating denim into the mainline range. “Versatility” is the name of the collection that celebrates the beauty of imperfection. The set highlights the various experiences that define the Won Hundred brand identity. The message expresses a genuine admiration for the versatile journeys in fashion.
“I’ve always been drawn to the sphere between extremes, where beauty exists in the duality of the rugged and the polished. This is the space where Won Hundred has always thrived, and with this collection, we have truly discovered and understood its essence.”
Nikolaj Nielsen, Founder and Director
The 2025 Summer collection honors the ever-changing spirit of Won Hundred. Unlike the 2024 Winter collection, which celebrated the past, SS25 anticipates a sophisticated future. The inspiration comes from the contrast of raw, rock-infused materials with the refined elegance of clean-cut shirts and pants. The clash of true historical aesthetics and clean, minimalist designs emphasizes the concept of adaptability as Won Hundred transitions from the past to the future.
Additionally. The SS25 collection is based on the brand’s core values, which emphasize sustainability. This viewpoint is backed by changes in denim manufacturing procedures, which help minimize the environmental footprint. Thanks to that initiative, Won Hundred Manufacturing’s energy consumption is currently 1.393 KWH per unit of jeans, down from the industry average of 3.1 KWH per unit.
Water conservation has also improved significantly in denim production. In fact, each garment is created from at least 50% responsible fibers. This method will keep improving until it reaches 80-100% responsible fibers in the future.
Finally, the Won Hundred Summer 2025 collection is a manifesto for the brand’s future choices. In other words, the goal is to reveal a sustainable way to give birth to new fashion trends through denim craftsmanship, and this collection proves it.
