The Garment Winter 2025
On January 29, during the third day of the Copenhagen Fashion Week, the capital of fashion in the Nordics got another gem revealed with The Garment Autumn-Winter 2025 collection. On this occasion, 28 new looks dominated the runway, showcasing ideas from far away.
But first, let’s talk about the creator. Everything began with the Danish designer Charlotte Eskildsen. She launched the company in 2020 as a new approach for herself after working in the industry for decades. Charlotte began her fashion career as a co-founder of the brand “Designers, Remix.” After 22 years in the industry, the talented designer wanted to pursue more attractive fashion alternatives, particularly those that are socially and environmentally responsible.
Talking about social positivity and green alternatives, sustainable fashion is one of the core values of the brand. In reality, The Garment supports this purpose by participating in the 1% Initiative, an ideal that commits to donating 1% of its annual revenues to organisations that are dedicated to protecting ecosystems and their fauna.
The collection
On this opportunity, the fashion house sought inspiration from a hidden architectural treasure located in a country you might not have expected: India. The Asian country is home to plenty of genuine places, cultures and history. In this matter, The Garment discovered a place that inspired the collection.
The city of Chandigarh is the capital of the northern Indian states of Punjab and Haryana. The city was one of the first planned cities in India, with the purpose of becoming an efficient place for public administration (both states have a combined population of 61 million people today… for a matter of comparison, Italy has 59 million). Because of the need for a new regional capital, the city was designed by renowned modernist architects like Le Corbusier. As a result, the city is full of modern buildings and designs that made Chandigarh a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
And precisely, it was this modernist legacy that The Garment Autumn-Winter 2025 collection is made of. The 28 looks consist of dozens of new pieces and accessories that contain the minimalism and sophisticated simplism of modernism. This concept is supported by the use of materials such as wool, leather, and cotton. Regarding colour, the collection showcases a glamorous blend of tan, craft, acorn, butter, wine, and crisp white.
The silhouettes and design are a blend. This mixing occurs between the curves that mark modernism and the simplicity of minimalism in Scandinavian fashion. After all, The Garment made a very symbolic yet timeless collection that will be a good choice, not only for the autumn-winter season of this year but for anytime in the future, which aligns with the house philosophy of sustainable fashion.

Regardless of the fashion show, The Garment Autumn-Winter 2025 is not available to buy online yet. However, its availability might change in the coming months, particularly at the start of the season (August-September).
