Skall Studio Summer 2025

On August 7, the Skall Fashion House shined brilliantly on the runway. During the third day of Copenhagen Fashion Week, the house unveiled more than 30 looks that reflected the Studio’s vision for the season. Here you will find all the details on Skall Studio’s Spring-Summer 2025 collection.

The Danish sisters Julie and Marie Skall began their own label, and, after more than ten years of experience designing new styles and items, their creations reached the runway of the most important fashion event in Scandinavia. Indeed, the House reflects the two sisters’ past in the countryside of northern Denmark. Because of that, Skall Studio combines memories and the sister’s personal feelings to create collections that reflect all this history.

Sustainability and harmony are the brand’s main values. Overall, Skall’s sisters’ experience on the Danish farmlands served to form a new perspective on how fashion should be. In order to preserve this fundamental nature, Skall Studio is GOTS certified (Global Organic Textile Standard), and the collection is made of 100% natural fibers and 96% mono-fibers.

The collection

The Danish house is commemorating ten years in the fashion industry, and that nostalgic feeling formed the inspiration for this collection. With that history and the Skall sisters’ passion for the 1960s and 1970s, the collection inspiration was led symbolically by Loulou de la Falaise, a British designer and Fashion icon. Loulou was a true Bohemian with an innovative yet feminine style. In fact, her style is reflected in the collection through delicate colors, prints, and a fusion of the ultra-feminine and masculine.

Loulou de la Falaise rose to prominence in the haute couture world, becoming a personal friend of the legendary French designer Yves Saint Laurent. This everlasting friendship led to partnerships like YSL jewelry and design trends in accessories.

These connections, together with Skall’s history, provide the ideal foundation for developing the collection’s essence. With 30 looks and a colour palette that includes white, beige, blue, brown, and black, the collection embodies the Scandinavian minimalism aesthetic. This decision resulted in a stylish and functional range of items that offer freedom and flexibility for the summer.

The collection offers a range of customized-fit coats and classic wide jeans that are matched with large summer hats. Also, the set has feminine midi-skirts, fluid vintage-inspired Bohemian shirts and dresses with delicate polishing. Ultimately, the well-designed and minimalistic, easy-to-wear classic Skall jackets are tailored in organic cotton from Italian Manteco (a luxurious and high-quality type of wool).

The GOTS-certified Skall Denim in ocean tones ranges from worn light blue to mid-blue. The denim is also combined with Breton-inspired stripes in thick organic cotton jersey. As always, the distinctive knitwear is created in Denmark to promote local industry and workmanship.
