During the third day of Copenhagen Fashion Week, or to be more precise, on August 7, the Scandinavian fashion scene became witness to a collection made as a tribute for our home. Discover the special meaning behind MKDT Studio’s Summer 2025 collection right here.
The company, which was founded in 2014 as Mark Kenly Domino Tan, exemplifies the attractiveness of high-quality textiles and precise workmanship. Moreover, the MKDT Studio aesthetic is based on craftsmanship, which always combines the traditional technique of garment-making with a modern perspective.
Symbolism and minimalism are traits that reflect the brand’s history over all these years. These two characteristics consistently serve as the inspiration for the collections, and for 2025, the essence is still maintained.Â
The collection
The MKDT Studio Summer 2025 collection, titled “Earth,” pays tribute to the earth, humanity’s home. This inspiration can be linked back to nature and all of the phenomena that exist on this tiny planet. The continual battles, contrasts, and uncontrollable natural forces vs. man-made… The beautiful colors seen through the Earth’s depths, gemstones and flower crops. All of these elements helped to shape the collection’s artistic horizon. This approach is reinforced by MKTD Studio’s creative director, who states:
"In a world often marked by disconnection, the earth serves as a reminder of our interconnectedness. It is a source of stability amidst the ever-changing landscape of our lives. This season, we delve into the earth’s essence — its layers, movements, and rich colors — to capture its enduring qualities in our garments"
The set consist in 30 looks, which include dozens of new pieces for the season. The collection have new accessories such as lacy summer hats, silk tech summer hats, curved loose lapels, and floral brooches. The sets also offer thin, fabric-covered belts, flower-stem tie belts, and AlaĂ¯a shoes in black and ivory colors.
MKDT Studio Summer 2025’s design features a minimalist yet vintage aesthetic. To be more precise, the sets showcases a tighter, more contoured design inspired by 1950s women’s jackets. Furthermore, we can see new full-volume tutu shorts, skirts, tapered pants, and a straight boatneck. Ultimately, the color palette of the collection consists of neutrals. At this time, the sets presents green and earthy tones like clay, quartz, granite, hay, and matcha khaki.
In conclusion, the MKDT Studio Summer 2025 collection is a gorgeous and powerful release that leads to an aesthetic reflection of how fragile and powerful the struggles of nature are. The sophistication, minimalism, and symbolism marked another outstanding release from the Danish fashion house of Mark Kenly Domino Tan.

Precisely, it will take between 2 and 14 business days (outside of the European Union) to deliver the item. Furthermore, customs charges are not included. If you have a problem with the product and want to return it, you have 14 days from the date it was delivered. Return fees are not covered, and customized items are non-refundable.
