At the beginning of June, the New York-based fashion brand, Markarian, released its new set for the Resort Season. The collection is inspired by an era, a lifestyle, and an iconic American artist. Here, you can learn more about the Markarian Resort 2025 collection.
Founded by the designer Alexandra O’Neill in 2017, Markarian was born with an idea toward romanticism and timeless design. The idea came from a familiar background in Colorado, where Alexandra had her first contact with fashion through her grandmother.
Celebrities and fashion editors have fallen in love with Markarian since the brand’s inception in 2017. Kate Hudson is just one of several American celebrities who have worn the label on repeated occasions. As a matter of fact, Markarian designed the clothing for the first lady of the United States for the inauguration ceremony in 2021.
The collection
The Markarian Resort 2025 is a time capsule wrapped in elegance. The inspiration for the designs, colors, and cut relies on an unique American pop star, Cher. The famous California singer has influenced the music scene since 1965, and her personal style was not left behind.
Cher’s 70s self-style, combined with the essence of pop disco, effectively conveyed a message through the collection’s themes. Alexandra O’Neill risked a mordern approach to pieces that were usually popular in the American disco scene of the 1970s. One of these unique designs consisted of blousons, shorts, or meaded crop tops.
Furthermore, the color palette of the new set is hingly influenced by green, red, and soft tons of blue and pink. Wave designs and floral embroidery are two examples of the imaginative ways these colors are mixed. When we talk about embroidery, the patterns used to create the garments reflect the Markarian romantic style.
Evidently, the female freedom of the disco scene is represented in a practical way. This way emerges comfortable through the loose designs and cuts of the dresses, crops, pants, and blouses. Last but not least, Markarian Resort 2025 is a comfortable and elegant way to represent the season through a nostalgic era.
Purchase a piece
The resort collection was offered during a short period of time at a trunk show (the name for a pre-sale to customers). The fashion webmarket Moda Operandi was part of this truck show, and you can check the prices of the items here. However, the whole new set will be available on Markarian’s website between November and December. Markarian also offers an in-person visit, so you can book an appointment here.

The delivery is through DHL (so the time of delivery depends on them). If you’re unhappy with your order and wish to return it, you have 21 days if you ordered from the US and 30 days if you ordered from other countries.
