Joao Maraschin Summer 2025
On the first day of the summer edition of the Copenhagen Fashion Week, vivid colors shined on the runway. On August 5th, the Brazilian fashion designer Joao Maraschin released the Spring/Summer 2025 collection that represents his vision for these lovely times.
With a unique vision combining sustainability and craftsmanship, Joao Maraschin founded his iconic brand in 2020. Since that year, the designer has achieved numerous accolades in the fashion industry. A few of these achievements include the Drapers Sustainability 2021 Graduate Award and being the first Brazilian designer to be a semifinalist for the LVMH Prize.
In addition to its ongoing progress, Joao showcases the results of numerous collaborations on the runway. The collection
“Road Trip” is the name of the new collection that unveiled the Brazilian designer in his first debut at the Copenhagen Fashion Week. The collection presents itself as a journey through the founder’s personal experiences and cultural visions.
Joao started his fashion career in Brazil, following a family tradition of crocheting through his grandparents. Years passed, and after graduating in fashion and working for a regionally famous Brazilian designer, his destiny brightened when he moved to London for fashion studies. It was at this point that Joao Maraschin was discovered by the London fashion scene, and the rest is history.
This collection showcases his personal history in an aesthetic manner. With 32 looks combining dozens of accessories and pieces, the Joao Maraschin Spring/Summer 2025 collection is more than a season; it is a lifetime of interpretations.
The sets doesn’t focus on a main style. Due to its nature, the sets offers a blend of vibrant Brazilian colors and loose designs, juxtaposed with the cold and pragmatic London style. Additionally, the collection creatively mixes the colors red, off-white, green, and orange throughout its pieces. Something special about this collection is the variety of designs. This detail allows comfort and freedom in any situation for the season, such as the hoodies, the jackets, the swimwear, and more.
In matters of material and essence, Joao Maneschin’s main pillars are sustainability and social inclusion. In reality, Joao sources a significant portion of his supplies from Brazilian artisans’ communities. Apart from the craftsmanship, the resources used for sewing the pieces came from a sustainable way of recycling plastic. Furthermore, alternative and natural materials from Brazil such as rubber also played a major role.

Joao Maraschin Spring/Summer 2025 collection is a lovely release; however, it’s not available to buy today. Due to the brand’s growth, there is no prevision of what time it will be ready for purchase. Nevertheless, we can safely assume that it might become available in the first trimester of 2025.
