The Danish fashion house Herskind debuted its fashion collection on August 7th, during the third day of Copenhagen Fashion Week. With 30 looks celebrating the women’s silhouette, the collection delivered a new air of sophistication for the season. Founded in 2013 by the Danish fashion designer Birgitte Herskind, the fashion house has the goal of delivering timeless and versatile clothing that contains sophistication with contemporary trends.

The collection
On the morning of August 7th, the Herskind house unveiled 30 looks on the fashion runway, mixing hundreds of new pieces inspired by the female silhouette and merging timeless design, minimalism, and practicality. This idea is supported by its own creator, who states:
“Herskind’s Spring Summer 2025 collection is an ode to the splendor of meticulous craftsmanship and the allure of luxurious textiles. This season, we invite you to immerse yourself in the enchanting symphony of femininity and functionality, inherent style and charming new ideas.”
The collection has lightweight tops and dresses that are ideal for hot summer days or for delicate occasions on cold nights. Furthermore, transparent pieces such as the thin skirt and translucent knit sets provide an amusing yet classy style, while the structured bubble dress, high neck designs, and hanging tops indicate a focus on form, function, and comfort.
This season’s designs emphasize suited silhouettes with sculpted shoulders, resulting in a great balance of fashionable tradition and fresh innovations. Despite the collection appearing more feminine, the waist is highlighted in several pieces. Moreover, Herskind maintains male-oriented elements such as shirts with massive cuffs, handcrafted bracelets, belts, and pleated jeans with pressing folds.
Aesthetically, the color palette ranges from cream, powder, sand, light asparagus, and soft sage to toffee, grey, khaki, and pitch black. The collection features utility pants, white tank shirts, and denim pieces that are both comfortable and stylish. Long shorts and voluminous trousers offer a new twist on traditional summer classics.
