Elie Saab’s genuine touch of originality remains present. The legendary Lebanese designer debuted Elie Saab Resort 2024 for the new season. With Mediterranean mixing tones, the collection takes inspiration by a swan.

But it is not a typical swan that is being mentioned here. Truman Capote was an american journalist and novelist. His stories about the high society have a “spell” in pop culture. One of his novels, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, inspired the great movie portrayed by Audrey Hepburn.

One of Capote’s tales about the affluent was summarized in “The Swans”, a group of glamorous, stylish, and important women who influenced social life during the 50s and 60s. One of these swans is Marella Agnelli, an Italian aristocrat who was the main inspiration for this collection.

Born in the city of the Renaissance, Firenze, Marella was raised in the center of a noble family. After contributing to the Italian resistance during World War II, she returned to her lifestyle, where she met and married Gianni Agnelli, the main industrialist of Italy.

Marella life was full of dramas, intrigues, great social achievements, arts and especially, fashion. By virtue of this history, Elie Saab Resort 2024 is a tribute to this Italian fashion icon.

The collection offers the women the liberty to move through each scene as if they were dancing. Each piece represents the essence of Elie and fits perfectly with the Mediterranean’s ton of colors during the resort season.
