On January 27, the Copenhagen Fashion Week received a new talent. During the first day of the shows for the Autumn-Winter 2025 season, the Scandinavian fashionistas witnessed the debut of BIRROT. It was between euphoria and happiness that the Copenhagen-based fashion house showed its creations for the season, and, as expected, here you will find all the details about the new collection.

The house was founded in 2018 by the Korean fashion duo Min Kim and Sey Hong. In that year, the pair of friends decided to pursue their vision of introducing a new style to the European fashion scene. This style consisted of combining their personal experience in South Korea with their lives in Copenhagen. Following years of experimentation, BIRROT ventured into new territories with the release of the Autumn-Winter 2025 collection.

Apart from the global and multicultural origin of the house, BIRROT is committed to introducing a positive impact in the world. This intention ranges from its ethically produced garments in South Korea to the use of sustainable materials in their items. These unique characteristics form part of the philosophy of the house, and the new collection is a sophisticated example of that.

The collection

The BIRROT Autumn-Winter 2025 collection is an accomplishment for the Korean-Danish fashion house. The reason behind it is that it’s the first time that the house is showcasing its collection in the Copenhagen Fashion Week. After 7 years and 13 collections, the Autumn-Winter release is a lovely start for a new chapter.

At this special occasion, BIRROT suggests an adaptable wardrobe. To be more precise, the adaptation consists of clothes that are designed to look classy in different seasons and circumstances. The brand focuses on designing for women, even if many of its designs are unisex. This creative approach is reinforced with the mix of Korean design on silhouette and the aesthetics of Scandinavian minimalism.

In the matter of the essence, the collection consisted of 20 looks and dozens of accessories that create plenty of fashionable choices. The color palette is the result of personal memories of the designers with the Scandinavian aesthetics. The main colors used in this collection are black, slightly toned white (pastel), gray, deep brown, and burgundy red. In other words, thanks to these characteristics, BIRROT created a wardrobe that fits perfectly with the cosmopolitan routine.

Ultimately, the fashion show was titled “The Highway.” The name flourished from the idea of a rainy day in Seoul and a BIRROT woman crossing the Yeongdong bridge, one of the most famous bridges in the Korean capital. This imaginary scenario with the bridge symbolizes the journey between the two Korean and Danish worlds, which are deeply ingrained in BIRROT’s DNA.

The BIRROT Autumn-Winter 2025 collection will be available for purchase in the beginning of the season (August). However, you can already purchase the past collection on their website.
