Sewing Dreams
Sarti Online is inspired by a love for art, admiration, and a curiosity about the origins of crafting clothes. It all began on August 26, 2018, when the website was created.
The essence
Of Italian origin, the word “Sarti” is the plural of “Sarto”, which means tailor in Italian. In other words, Sarti’s name represents the goal of bringing together tailors, designers, and stylists in one place.
The creator
It all started with a simple attraction. Aaron was born in Venezuela to a family of immigrants from Brazil and Portugal. For years, Aaron’s life flourished with dreams and passions like any child.
Over time, thanks to his mother’s influence, Aaron began to be interested in fashion. Sadly, he was underestimated and even mocked by his own family and friends. However, during his youth, the country and his dreams both fell apart due to the red terror.

With his ideas slipping away and his life in jeopardy, Aaron boarded a plane and, through the window, witnessed the sunset of his homeland for the last time in 2012.
This decision was perhaps the most important of his life. When Aaron came to Brazil, he was able to discover how incredible the fashion was.
It was in São Paulo, Brazil’s biggest city, that Aaron found the opportunities to follow his passion.

He joined the army, studied, and graduated in journalism. It was during the second year of his graduation that Aaron founded Sarti.
The life played another setback when the 2020’s pandemic sieged the world. At that moment, Aaron decided to leave Brazil to chase his dreams.
After years of living in countries like the USA and Portugal, Aaron finally decided to stay in the kingdom of the strawberries, also known as Denmark. It is in this tiny Scandinavian country that Sarti Online is operating and growing.

Thanks to all this history and philosophy, Sarti was conceived with the idea of being the place for those who love sewing, style, fashion, and glamour.
The moment
Modern times are a challenge for fashion journalism. Many newspapers and magazines died as a result of the readership changes and internet use. Among them was Brazil’s ELLE, a magazine that was a symbol of Brazilian fashion. It was closed on August 6, 2018.
Elle’s Brazilian covers for the 30th anniversary.
As a witness to the demise of a magazine that was celebrating more than 30 years of history, Aaron decided to seize the opportunity to continue the legacy of fashion journalism in a different way.
The Future
Bit by bit, word by word, Sarti seeks to offer a sweet experience to the reader. With the aim of improving what is possible, Sarti is open to any opinion, criticism, or contribution that its followers want to make to improve the quality of its publications.
